I'm really uncomfortable about sending them a picture of my ID which they are going to keep in their database long term.
I successfully did the video face scan on my phone, I returned back to Prolific to a ‘Identity confirmation failed’ messages and a close my account option.
My identity has been stolen 1 month after signing up for Prolific. I'm fully confident it was because my information was compromised by Prolific or any 3rd party they use.
their flip cell phone can't take photos & they can't find any alternative method to verify ID.
I guess they couldn't verify my ID for some reason when I took photo of my driver's licence & then took my live photo. They seem to never get back to me about it.
