Card #153 · Todoist Integrations
Overdue status based on date instead of deadline
Tasks are marked as overdue as soon as the planned start date passes, even if the actual deadline is still in the future. This forces users to manually reschedule tasks daily to avoid the overdue label, creating unnecessary maintenance overhead.

The next day, Tuesday, the task shows as Overdue because the Date was set to Monday. In order to prevent the task as reporting Overdue, I have to manually reset the Date to Tuesday... and then Wednesday, and then Thursday.
I wish Todoist wouldn't mark tasks like that as overdue.
Please consider a settings option to allow this different view rather than effectively treat every Start Date as a deadline.
