Merchants are unable to pass unique tokens or URL parameters into the checkout process to link orders with external systems. Custom fields and product forms are not reliably capturing this data, making it difficult to reconcile payments with external booking records.

I’ve been trying all day to pass something to an order using checkout custom fields or product custom forms and nothing is sticking.
Squarespace checkout is pretty locked down, so I wouldn’t count on arbitrary URL parameters carrying cleanly into the final order data.
