Codex workflow inefficiencies and model capability regression
Users are experiencing significant friction in their development workflows, specifically regarding the lack of automatic PR creation and poor project continuity when context windows are full. The current system feels very conversation-based, while many real workflows are actually long-running thinking and development spaces.
While using codex cloud, codex doesn’t automatically creates a pr, there is no option to enable that.
this is a case of model capability regression. If it can pinpoint the issue, then it can proceed with execution; but if it can’t, it shouldn’t.
This kind of unexpected regression disrupts my workflow.
