Inability to restrict personal GitHub accounts in Enterprise Managed Users

As a security engineer, I want to prevent employees from using personal GitHub accounts to upload company data. However, the enterprise access restriction features are unavailable for enterprises with data residency, leaving the only option as blocking GitHub entirely, which is not ideal.

The objective here is to control the personal account versions of each of those individual apps, by paying for the enterprise version.

Turns out it's possible, but only by blocking all of GitHub which again, is not ideal for this particular use case.

I have a concern, that a given user in my environment could have a personal GitHub account and that user could login to their personal GitHub account and upload company data (data egress concern; IP leaking).

the support team told us: With enterprises enabled for data residency the feature is not available as those enterprises have a reliance on ghe.com and not github.com , so therefore you can instead block github.com entirely.
