Lack of hard project budget limits in OpenAI API
Project limits have been changed from hard limits to soft notification-only limits, contrary to the documentation. This forces users to implement their own monitoring processes or external gateways to prevent budget overruns.

using the OpenAI API, there is absolutely NO WAY to set a project limit??? This is a serious showstopper.
project limits are no longer hard limits, and are notification only and that the documentation is incorrect it what it specifies
