Lack of public audience option for ActivityPub posts
Currently, posts are restricted to followers-only, which prevents the ability to boost content or advertise features widely. Merchants need the option to choose between public and followers-only audiences to increase visibility.

One thing that would be useful is to choose the audience: whether the post will be public or followers-only.
Now it’s the latter, so we cannot boost it, and must follow the account prior to receiving notices.
boosting is central to my own use case as well.
