When running a fresh install Vault 2023 Client, I get an error when initializing the default "InsertFromVault" extension. This FileNotFoundException also applies to the HelloWorld example contained in the 2023 SDK.
Custom extension implementing IExplorerExtension is not loading at all. Static constructor never executes = Vault isn't discovering the extension.
I upgraded from Vault 2022 to 2025 and kept getting this error after I'd updated all the references. "type initialiser for autodesk.datamanagement.client.framework.library threw an exception"
I get an error saying that it cannot find Autodesk.Connectivity.LicenseWrapper.dll. Yes, a copy of that DLL is in the same folder as the executable
"Could not load file or assembly 'Autodesk.DataManagement.Addin.Framework, Version=29.2.88.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null' or one of its dependencies. The system cannot find the file specified."
