Inconsistencies and alignment issues with Geolocation and Google Earth
We are experiencing significant discrepancies between SketchUp's geolocation data and Google Earth, leading to models not aligning with the ground. Additionally, using geolocation causes issues with model orientation in Layout and visual glitches like 'bouncing' buildings when viewed in Google Earth.

when I Geolocated the building on the surface of the earth in Sketchup, it imported floating in the air in Google Earth.
I saw that the terrain data in GE was completely different (in this case more detailed) and that the building did not align with the ground at all.
Problem seems to be how Sketchup deals with Geolocation. If I clear the location everything works fine but if I use maps to find my exact location it seems to put something additional to my model.
I can’t seem to figure out how to correctly locate my models in the world and stay square.
