Debugger mismatch when using .NET Framework add-ins in Autodesk 2026

Developers are unable to debug legacy .NET Framework add-ins in Autodesk 2026 products because the software has migrated to the .NET Core runtime. This results in fatal debugger errors when attempting to attach a Desktop CLR debugger to a CoreCLR process.
