Issues with Navisworks Automation API for file export and licensing

the generated NWD does not have any AutoCAD properties, as if it were not being generated.
But with the new named user licenses, I get this exception: Autodesk.Navisworks.Api.Automation.AutomationException: Failed to startup Navisworks: -2146959355
the issue is with the named user license, which can only be consumed in GUI mode.
