Data visualization inconsistencies and spikes during zooming
Users experience issues where data spikes disappear or Y-axis values change depending on the zoom level and time range selected. This leads to unreliable statistical results and difficulty in monitoring rare spikes or accurate totals.

the values of the y-axe is changing depending on the zooming in the chart
My metric usually is 0 but 1-10 times a week it got some spikes. I have Grafana 8.5.21 and Viktoria Metrics as datasource. My solution was to change Max Data Points parameter
the spike in this case is from a few days ago so i dont think that’s relevant in this case. Also the data is displayed consistently in my cloudwatch dashboard (same peak value @ same time) regardless of the zoom
