Lack of sub-millisecond timestamp resolution for InfluxDB data

We are unable to visualize or inspect data with nanosecond or microsecond precision because Grafana truncates timestamps to milliseconds. This causes graphs to appear empty when zooming in and prevents the analysis of high-frequency data, such as network packets or power waveforms.

grafana is truncating times to milliseconds despite the fact that they may be stored in the database at a higher precision

I want to visualize on Grafana this data, whose timestamp goes to the nanosecond resolution.

this means you can’t inspect values occurring with separation less than a ms

I’m limited to millsecond resolution in grafana regardless of what I use in the GROUP BY clause.
