Template variables not supported in alert queries
We are unable to use template variables within alert queries, which forces us to hard-code values. This creates a significant gap in functionality and makes it difficult to set up dynamic alerts for multiple instances or hosts.

I’m stuck with the “Template variables are not supported in alert queries” bug.
If you want to alert on this query, then you will have to remove the template variable and hard code the value.
