Difficulties with external snapshot publishing and embedding
Users are struggling to configure and use external snapshot servers for sharing dashboards. Issues include CORS errors when embedding iframes in other sites, 404 errors when publishing to custom external servers, and failures when handling complex dashboards.

when I embed that iframe on Confluence, I get CORS issues
When I try to publish a snapshot to the external server I get an “Unexpected error” in the UI. After further investigations it seems that the first OPTIONS request to api/snapshots returns a 404
I’m asking what do you have to do to enable a server to become a snapshot server that can present a snapshot like Raintank.
it basically works for dashboards with only a few data, but not for “more complex” dashboards.
