Insufficient or non-functional LDAP debug logging
We are struggling to debug LDAP authentication issues because the verbose logging settings do not provide enough detail or fail to produce any logs at all. Even when enabling ldap:debug or verbose_logging, the logs remain empty or consist only of unhelpful one-liners.

when I turn on filter = ldap:debug I get no additional logging for the ldap auth
It would be helpful to log the specific usernames attempted during failed login.
Debug log for ldap is already turned on. I don’t seem to be getting particularly verbose logs though. Only one liners.
I have also tried verbose_logging = 1 and true in ldap.toml, no additional loglines show up either.
