Lack of robust project-level notes and descriptions

Users are struggling with the inability to maintain persistent, well-formatted notes or status updates within projects and tasks. Current workarounds like 'uncompletable tasks' are insufficient, and the new project description feature is seen as underpowered due to formatting issues and poor visibility.

The lack of a Note object, that can stay next to tasks is a big issue that I have with Todoist

The editor lets you do this, but then removes all line breaks and formatting when you close it and view the project, rendering it pointless.

Is there a way to have a task, say "Build the alumni page on website" and then comment or keep track of things that happen within that project?

I'm a Todoist subscriber for 5 years or so, and I can't be the only person who is using the "* (asterisk)" in title trick to make an uncompletable task that instead of acting as a task, acts as a Note/Description.
