Limitations and bugs in Dynamic Components (DC) functionality
Users are struggling with Dynamic Components not respecting fixed dimensions during scaling and experiencing bugs with unit displays. There is also significant friction regarding the lack of advanced interactivity, the need for hidden geometry, and the complexity of managing nested components.

When I do enter a new width for the unit, the thicknesses of the side walls changes proportionally and are not fixed, even though in the Component Attribute window they are ‘fixed’.
The DC units system still has a bug where if you turn off “Display units format” in Model Info/Units, all the units dispalyed in the Component Options dialog switch to inches.
DC’s tend to be slower than just drawing geometry and or using non-dynamic components in many cases.
it is not possible to make DC’s interact with mouse clicks.
