Chargeback disputes lost despite providing clear evidence

Merchants are consistently losing chargeback disputes even when they provide proof of delivery, customer signatures, or admissions of legitimacy. There is a strong perception that payment processors and platforms are failing to effectively transmit evidence to banks, leading to automatic losses for the merchant.

you ship an order, tracking shows delivered, no support tickets, nothing. then weeks later you wake up to a chargeback saying the customer “didn’t authorize” or “never received it.”

Customer received it, customer signed first and last name. then calls bank and tells them it was never received. We send over all the proof. We still lose.

Despite full evidence and proof that these customers do not have a canceled subscription and received the product, we are losing.

I submitted a letter from the customer indicating the charge was legitimate, and I still lost the chargeback.

The customer agreed the charge was legitimate and that they received their order, but the card processor seems to ignore any evidence you provide.

Although the evidence is clear as day, if they don’t pass that information to the banks, then we are just circling around and being caused to waste our time and effort.
