Inaccurate delivery estimates due to rigid transit time settings
We are unable to provide accurate delivery dates at checkout because transit time settings are too restrictive. The system doesn't allow for calendar-day calculations in certain regions like Japan, nor does it allow modifications for backordered or preordered items.

I sell a lot of products that are on backorder/preorder, so I can’t have checkout estimating an arrival date when the products are backordered for months.
Japan is not supported by Shopify’s transit time feature, so merchants can’t set transit time in calendar days — only business days (Mon–Fri) are available. This causes inaccurate delivery estimates at checkout.
