Fear of AI hallucinations in product descriptions and documentation
Merchants are reluctant to adopt AI-driven storefronts due to concerns that AI will incorrectly summarize product descriptions or documentation. They fear this will lead to misinformed customers, increased product returns, and potential legal liabilities.

I have no confidence that AI won't just 'summarize', perhaps incorrectly, leading to a sale that is grossly misinformed.
As long as the liability is still on me for what AI says, it is nothing more than a legal issue waiting to happen.
don't want to handle an increase in chargebacks and returns because AI misinterpreted or hallucinated something from a product description.
I don't know if AI will inform the buyer with accurate paraphrasing or not, so I'll pass.
