Ineffective payroll integration and project-based cost allocation
Merchants are struggling with payroll integrations that fail to accurately handle billable hours and costs by project. There are significant concerns regarding journal entries messing up books and incorrect allocation of payroll taxes to non-taxable reimbursements.

Gusto does integrate with QB Time but it’s always been far less robust and can’t push payroll by project over to QBO.
even QB Time to payroll doesn’t work perfectly as far as allocating wages, like if you have no taxable reimbursements it incorrectly allocated payroll tax to that and uses that to allocate costs.
The other big issue with our payroll is that we do billable hours by project, and Bamboo wasn't able to handle that AT ALL.
