Inventory and availability synchronization errors
Merchants are experiencing critical issues where products are incorrectly marked as sold out or unavailable despite having stock. Some users report that new products are permanently treated as unavailable at the backend, while others see sold-out items appearing in search results and leading to error pages.

Sold out items that should not appear in searches on our website, are still showing, even though the online store option is not selected. Customers have been complaining because they want the item, but it send them to an error page.
Symptom 10 products I created recently all show as “sold out” on the storefront and cannot be added to cart. Products created earlier are completely fine and sell normally.
/products/.js returns “available”: false for the variant, EVEN AFTER I turned OFF “track quantity”.
It looks like, for any product/variant created after a certain date, the inventory item is not being correctly written or linked at the backend, so the variant is permanently treated as unavailable.
