Translation key limit in theme locale files
Merchants are unable to save or upload theme locale files when they exceed approximately 3,000 to 3,400 translation keys. This limitation causes missing translations on the live site or prevents the theme from being saved entirely.

Shopify support suggested that the issue is likely caused by lv.json hitting the 3,400 key limit.
unable to save the en.default.json file when it has more than approximately 3000 translations.
it seems to work when I delete down to sub 3000 lines, though there are missing translations when publishing and this is not a solution.
