Google Ads product ID prefix change after app reinstall
Reinstalling the Google & YouTube app causes product IDs to change prefixes (e.g., from SHOPIFY_RO to SHOPIFY_ZZ). This leads Google Merchant Center to treat existing products as new listings, erasing product-level performance history and forcing campaigns to undergo a re-learning period.

My old products had SHOPIFY_RO_ID and the new ones have SHOPIFY_ZZ_ID. (ID is the same)
the prefix change from SHOPIFY_RO to SHOPIFY_ZZ is the real problem because google treats those as entirely new product listings.
A product with 200 conversions now has 0 metrics.
if your campaigns are using performance max, they’ll need to re-learn which products convert best so expect a rough 2-3 weeks while the algorithm rebuilds.
