Cart discounts fail to apply after customer login

When customers add items to their cart while logged out and then log in, tag-based discounts are not applied to the cart page. The discount only appears if the customer manually alters the cart contents or proceeds to the checkout stage.

When you set up a discount for customers tagged with a specific tag and they then visit the website and add items to their cart, if then they proceed to log in, the discount does not show on the cart page.

It works fine when the customer is logged in and adds to cart, but fails to update the price when: A. A customer is not logged in, adds the product to cart. B. The customer then logs in, and the product is not discounted.

I don’t think there’s a workaround for forcing the cart to recalculate discounts.
