Subtask visibility and automation limitations
Merchants struggle with subtasks not inheriting parent project properties, making them invisible in list and calendar views. Additionally, native rules often fail to trigger on subtasks or cannot pass actions back to the parent task, forcing users to seek external automation tools.

the subtasks dont show in calendar view or list view unless you manually go into the subtasks and add them on
It works well at the task level, but does not run at all on the subtask level.
Asana rules triggered by a subtask will unfortunately only target that specific subtask instead of the overarching parent task.
there's no native way to pass the action to the subtask's parent task
