Difficulty navigating and reporting on nested Portfolios

Users find it immensely difficult to navigate deeply nested parent/child portfolio structures, describing it as an onboarding nightmare. There are also significant issues with dashboarding and reporting at the master portfolio level, where data is often double-counted or incorrectly aggregated.

Once you really get into nesting Parent/Child Portfolios, it can get really hard to navigate and find what you’re looking for if you’re not deeply embedded in the work.

I would love to see some kind of nesting menu where I can easily locate the parent-most Portfolio and see everything layered into it

the Master Portfolio is being added as an item on the X-axis (with the bar showing the total count of projects in all sub-portfolios), with each of the Sub-portfolios and their counts also listed.

projects are being counted twice (under both the sub-portfolio and the Master Portfolio counts).
