Lack of granular control for notification settings
Users are frustrated by 'all or nothing' notification settings that prevent them from opting out of specific alerts while keeping others. There is a strong desire to receive notifications only for their own activity rather than for all activity within a tracked topic.

That's all or nothing - I want to stop them for me, not everyone
people who want to see when they, themselves get a best answer, but not when someone else does, so they can’t just turn it off
it does seem like there should be a way to go back to the old way where they only got notified for their own best answers
