Workday HRIS admins struggle with reporting limitations for effective-dated data
As an HRIS admin, I find Workday's reporting on effective-dated data frustrating.
“I'm having issues with a report built on All Active and Terminated Workers DS. Admin users can easily recreate effective date headcounts using this DS but when HRBPs run this report with past effective date, they don't see workers who transferred outside of their support scope but were still in it as of this past effective date. For example: worker was in Finance sup org in June but transferred to IT sup org in July, when HRBP runs a report as of 30th June they cannot see this person in Finance sup org. Any idea how to overcome this? Is Trended Workers DS the only solution?”
