Paint bucket and eyedropper tools malfunctioning on SketchUp

Merchants are experiencing issues with the paint bucket tool not applying colors correctly, often only allowing one or two color changes before becoming unresponsive. The eyedropper tool also fails to identify certain colors, particularly those imported as new textures. These problems appear across different platforms and versions of SketchUp, and in some cases persist even after a full OS reinstall.

when i click the paint bucket icon the cursor switches to the paint bucket, but i get no color palate, and if i click on something with the cursor, sometimes, the color will change to grey.

The paint bucket only shows as the color picker. I can choose a color in the palette or the model, but can’t fill with color.

Every time I drag one element with a colored face over another one, the colors glitch out.

It is definitely not working on certain colors on mine. I know the colors that are not being “identified” by a gray box when using the eyedropper are from the same paint company.
