Geometry and tool behavior inconsistencies in SketchUp

Users are experiencing unexpected behavior with basic geometry operations and tools. Faces are not separating as expected during simple push/pull operations, the 2-point Arc tool has changed its functionality, and the rotation tool is erroneously dividing adjacent faces. These issues cause confusion and require workarounds, disrupting the expected workflow.

I drew a 2" cube and then, using the circle tool, drew a 1" radius circle from a face’s center to an edge (along the red axis). Normally I would expect 4 separate corners that I could push/pull independently - but for some reason 3 of them are staying linked - while 1 corner behaves as expected.

Before, I used to be able to draw a line from any one point to another, and then create an arc by the movement of my mouse. I LOVED that operation, but find that it doesn’t seem to work that way anymore.

I rotate one of the faces on the joined edge and the other one is getting divided.
