Chamfer toolpath generation broken after updates

Merchants are experiencing persistent failures and regressions in chamfer toolpath generation in Fusion 360. Operations that previously worked correctly now produce empty toolpaths, incorrect offsets, or false warnings about tool length, often after software updates. Users report that simulations look correct but actual toolpaths fail, forcing them to manually adjust parameters or redo operations.

Every time I try to generate a chamfer with a variable Z using the Trace toolpath, I encounter this warning message. It seems to be a known issue dating back to 2023

The last few days when I try to chamfer anything, I keep getting the orange circle by the operation on the tree, and this message "Warning: Empty toolpath. If you are machining a chamfer that is modelled, try setting the Chamfer Width and Chamfer Clearance to 0".

this op was working just fine a couple of days ago and yesterday when I made some changes to the design and regen the toolpaths it got messed up. it's a simple contour with a 45deg 6mm dovetail mill to make a backchanfer but it's going WAY outside
