Texture and image projection issues in SketchUp

Users struggle with projecting images over terrain, importing images as textures, and achieving high-quality renders. The workflow for using the paint bucket tool with projected textures is confusing, and exported images often appear grainy. Some users also report that plugins for creating 360 photo textures are no longer available.

I cant figure out how to get that tool to work because it wants a jpeg and not a texture. I imported my image as a texture.

I had been importing the jpeg as an image instead of as a texture. But I had not context-clicked and made it a projected texture.

I am still concerned about the quality though as I have exported to the biggest size but when I place it on the graphics it looks quite grainy full size.

I have attempted to use it but it creates a ‘grainy’ image which doesn’t look fully rendered… am i doing something wrong?
