Sage users struggle with fixed asset tracking and GL reconciliation
The pain
We're constantly fighting with fixed asset modules that don't tie to the general ledger. When we sell an asset, we can never find it in the system because items get moved around without any record. Assets are coded to closed locations, and when we flag it, auditors just call it immaterial. The software makes it nearly impossible to maintain accurate, auditable fixed asset records.
