The story

The pain

We're integrators and end users who have been burned by Samsung and LG displays. Samsung's service is a nightmare—slow, subcontractor-based, and they won't do board-level repairs, forcing us to buy whole new walls. LG generates more service calls than any other brand, and their support is slow and uses scavenged parts. We're actively avoiding both brands and recommending Sony, Sharp, or newer brands like Maxhub instead.

Samsung’s service subcontractor is horrible. They also don’t tend to keep enough spare stock for out of warranty repairs and won’t do board level repairs for LED. We have many clients that ran through the power supply and s-box spares in 5 years and Samsung told them they needed to buy a new wall to get it up and running.

Stay away from Samsung, I have multiple walls and they have been a horror of maintenance contract for the past 5 years... I look forward to when I get approval to change them out... never again.

My experience with LG is horrible. I will NEVER buy another LG product. Service is shocking, takes ages to get organised and uses scavenged parts. Never an LG.

About 2 years ago we abandoned them entirely unless specifically requested by a client. Nothing I've ever sold in 20+ years doing this has generated more service calls than LG displays. As an integrator, they're a nightmare to deal with compared to other manufacturers.
