The story

The pain

We're worried that TickTick will raise subscription prices to pay for AI features we don't want and won't use. If the price goes up, many of us will either drop to the free tier or leave the platform entirely.

If existing customers get an increase, then I'm cancelling Premium and using the Free version until I can find something better.

i hope it’s another membership tier to opt in the AI. i don’t need the feature, so if they increase the price i might have to opt out of the annual plan and use it free (‘

Ugh, why does everybody have to add unwanted ai and then charge more. Nobody wants ai! And nobody wants to pay more for a feature they don't want!

You still pay for the AI features whether you want to use them or not. If Doist made the base subscription cheaper and retooled Ramble to be a paid add on, I think it would be the best of both worlds
