Maya artists can't afford the high subscription cost after losing student access
The pain
We're artists who learned Maya in school, but once we graduate, the free student license ends and the indie or full subscription is prohibitively expensive at over £3000 a year. We're stuck choosing between paying a huge fee, using cracked versions, or switching to Blender, even though we prefer Maya and want to stay proficient for professional work.
