Lack of flexibility in managing and converting custom field types
Users are unable to change a field's type after creation, such as switching from single-select to multi-select, forcing them to delete fields and manually re-enter data. Additionally, there is no native way to revert accidental changes or deletions of options within multi-select fields.

if you’ve set it up as single-select, and then realise you need multi-select, you have to delete the field, create a new one and input all the data again.

We had a lot of different values in this multi-select field and most of them were removed. I can see the change history. How do I revert the field back to a prior version?
