The story

The pain

We run a full-service restaurant with Clover Dining and TipHaus for tip pooling, but we have no way to ring a private party buyout so that food and liquor costs are tracked and tips are distributed to the correct servers. Since TipHaus pools by the day, tips from the private event get allocated to staff who worked before and after the party, not to the servers who actually served it.

So, basically she sells the buyout of the restaurant for $90per person with a minimum of let’s say 100 people. The party will make $9000. How are we supposed to ring that into clover to track the cost of the food & liquor and for the tips to be distributed to the correct servers? Especially if TipHaus is “by the day” pooling, so the tips are being allocated to people who worked before and after the private event?
