The pain
We're in the field or managing projects, but our pay doesn't match the responsibility we're taking on. We see others making much more, and we're often used as cheap labor to cover for underperforming colleagues or to fill gaps the company won't properly staff. Asking for a raise feels uncertain, and we worry we're being taken advantage of.

I want more responsibility and more salary. Am I asking for too much in saying I want to be paid more? I see that people here make almost double what I do but at the same time I feel like I haven’t gotten “that good” yet.
I know the super makes roughly two to three times what I do, and it feels like more of his responsibilities are landing on me as the PX trusts him less. I understand replacing him would be difficult at this stage, but I’m worried I’ve become the cheap solution to a much bigger problem.
