The story

The pain

We signed up for a free trial of Miro, but when we forgot to cancel or the payment failed, we got locked into a paid annual subscription. The system won't let us cancel because an outstanding invoice has been generated, and support either ignores us or sends generic links. We are stuck with unwanted subscriptions and repeated failed payment attempts that incur bank charges.

I attempted to cancel my subscription immediately after the free trial ended, but your system did not allow me to do so due to a failed payment.

Miro is preventing me from cancelling because of an outstanding $240 invoice. The cancellation screen specifically states that the subscription cannot be cancelled because the outstanding invoice payment has failed.
