Asana tasks sync as all-day events in Google Calendar

Tasks with specific due times in Asana are synced to Google Calendar as all-day events rather than specific time blocks. This makes it difficult to visualize daily schedules and manage work-life harmony, leading some users to prefer Google Calendar over Asana for daily task management.

tasks on Asana with specific due times show as All Day Events in my google calendar which is not ideal.

Having them show as All-day events says to me “these are the projects or tasks you have to remember to squeeze in ‘at some point’ today.”

being able to see exactly how long certain tasks may take is one of my favorite Google Calendar features. Admittedly, it’s why I’ve continued to use Google Calendar instead of Asana for my daily tasks.
