The story
The pain
We're dealing with two major failures in QuickBooks. The deposit slip feature throws an 'Invalid request' error for any number of checks, making daily bank deposits impossible. Even worse, QBO payroll takes money from our clients' accounts for taxes but fails to send it to the state or federal government, then refuses to refund the funds. We've had to move clients off QBO payroll entirely because Intuit won't fix these errors even when shown proof.

When I try to save/print the deposit slip, I get an error message: “Invalid request, contact can have only one profile populated.” This is happening whether it is one check or ten checks.
Their system cannot connect to our State Worker's Comp and Unemployment Insurance system but it still tells clients that the reports were filed and I've seen it TAKE MONEY OUT OF CLIENT accounts for WCUI and not send it to the state. It looks months to get a refund.
Even in a situation where we were able to show them that they took my client's money and did not then pay to the federal government because it wasn't lining up with EFTPS (they didn't pay it because it wasn't actually owed which was a whole other screw up - they took out a whole quarter of taxes that had already been paid), we had no luck getting money back for our client.
